CommentsDevious CommentsI have to say thank you first of all for giving me a critique on my work. But as for your comment, it was a 'little' unfair. Lol not that it was mean; don't get me wrong; but you pick out things on how you would have liked to it have been drawn. And I'm going to to explain.
I understand that I don't have a really good light source going on and I'm still trying to work on that so thank you. But as for shading; I did make it look as real as it could be. You see people's skin doesn't go from super light to dark; your confused with how in anime's make it should look like, then in real life. BUT! I do see some stops I could have done a little better shading on and as you can see; this is a very bright pictuer; so there wouldn't be that much shadows in it. As for the background; Yes, I could have picked a better color, this is true and I see it now that you pointed it out. But that's why I did the white outlining so that it would push back the background a little and push out the characters. I just wanted the pictuer to be light, bright and happy x3 But yes, the color I could have gone with another. So thank you on that =] Now for originality; personally I don't see very much of this theme on DA or any other site unless its a photo. This isn't a photo, its a drawing. So I have to say that this was pretty original for me. But that doesn't bother me seeing as nothing is really original anymore, lol. So I understand that it wouldn't be for you. So once again thank you for the critique and I hope I didn't come off as fighting you back or anything XD I was just explain to you on why I did what I did, and picked what I picked. =] <3 -- ♥ I Love Bre'Anna McCoy ♥ ♫ Owner Of The =ManSelf-FanClub ♫ ;w; ok sorry if i sounded a little mean <3 but I didn't mean to be. Izzy just told me that I was making it should like I was.

congratulations on ending this piece. I liked it very much, but, as the critic, I must have something bad to say.
Vision:
1. Both characters are blond and the background is yellow. This wasn't a good choice for contrasting.
2. The shading is very soft, almost becoming none. Try to make shadows more visible and real.
Originality:
Let's admit it: this is a very common theme.
Technique:
As I said about shading... A this that helps us on shading is to define the source of light. The shine on their hairs show us that there is two sources on this drawing. Beware with this!
Impact:
Even with all the things that I said, this drawing amazed us and all of your
Keep the good work,
